As part of our growth strategy, we are seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Buyer to manage procurement for monopiles, turbines, and blades—critical components of our wind turbine projects.

The Lead Buyer will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and managing the procurement of monopiles, turbines, and blades, ensuring that these essential components meet our quality, cost, and delivery standards. This role requires a deep understanding of the renewable energy industry, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to manage complex supplier relationships.

• Strategic Sourcing: Develop and implement sourcing strategies for monopiles, turbines, and blades that align with project timelines, budget constraints, and quality standards
• Supplier Selection and Management: Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and maintain strong relationships to ensure a reliable supply chain for critical wind turbine components
• Contract Negotiation: Lead negotiations to secure the best possible terms, including pricing, delivery schedules, and quality assurance, while managing risks and ensuring compliance with all contractual obligations
• Cost Management: Monitor and control procurement budgets, ensuring cost-effective purchasing without compromising on the quality or performance of components
• Quality Assurance: Work closely with engineering and quality teams to ensure that all procured components meet the required specifications and standards
• Risk Management: Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure the timely delivery of components for wind turbine projects
• Market Analysis: Stay informed about market trends, emerging technologies, and industry developments to inform procurement decisions and support innovation
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that procurement activities align with overall project goals and timelines

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in procurement, with a focus on renewable energy components such as monopiles, turbines, and blades
• Strong understanding of supply chain management principles and best practices in the renewable energy sector
• Proven experience in negotiating complex contracts and managing supplier relationships
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
