We are looking for an experienced IT Manager (f/m/d) to join our DP World team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing overall demand, regional strategy, and ongoing sustenance support of Information Technology and Digital services for Contract Logistics within our Center of Excellence Technology. This position requires alignment with the Group Technology strategic direction and involves maintaining a comprehensive understanding of financial, technological, business, and industry trends, ensuring their applicability to DP World’s regional goals and objectives. A key aspect of this role is to stay informed about future customer growth areas and to manage the evolution of our application solution set to capitalize on future opportunities. This role is recruited hybrid within Germany.

• Demand Management: Oversee and manage overall demand for Information Technology and Digital services within the Center of Excellence Technology for Contract Logistics, ensuring alignment with Group Technology's strategic direction
• Regional Strategy: Develop and implement regional strategies to support the sustained delivery of IT and digital services, adapting to regional needs and goals
• Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing sustenance support for IT and digital services, ensuring reliability and efficiency in operations
• Trend Analysis: Maintain an understanding of financial, technological, business, and industry trends and their relevance to DP World’s regional objectives
• Customer Growth: Monitor and identify future customer growth areas, managing the evolution of application solutions to leverage these opportunities
• Relationship Management: Cultivate and manage relationships with internal and external customers, ensuring their needs and expectations are met
• Solution Design and Delivery: Lead the design and delivery of complex supply chain logistics solutions, ensuring high-end, high-volume, and complex solutions are effectively deployed on a continental and international basis
• Enterprise Architecture: Ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and software systems relevant to 3rd party logistics solutions, integrating these with customer systems and local automation technologies
• Documentation and Standards: Develop and maintain documentation standards for all processes and ensure adherence to these standards
• Team Leadership: Supervise and lead a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities
• Contract Logistics: Apply expertise in contract logistics across various industries, including fulfilment & warehousing, automotive, technology, industrial, consumer, retail, healthcare, and high-complexity manufacturing logistics
• Innovation: Stay informed about leading-edge technologies (AGV, Wearables, Conveyor, PLC systems) and integrate these innovations into existing systems to enhance operational efficiency

• Languages: Fluent in English and German, with additional languages being a bonus
• Strong Communication Skills: You are an exceptional listener and communicator. You write exceptionally well and speak eloquently, able to explain just about anything to anyone. Comfortable speaking on the phone or to groups of people at any level, you are incredibly tactful when delivering facts

• IT Skills: Highly proficient in the full Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project. You understand the Software Development Life Cycle and have a macro-level understanding of Enterprise IT solutions
• Flexibility to Travel: Ready to travel up to 25% of the time across the globe to our operations and regional offices to conduct meetings and support new business operations
