We are an efficient and future-oriented social security service provider with more than 3,600 employees. As a regional provider of German pension insurance, we are responsible for the administrative districts of Upper Bavaria, Lower Bavaria and Upper Palatinate. At our locations in Landshut and Munich, we are a competent and reliable point of contact for around 2.9 million insured persons, employers and 1 million pensioners.

To strengthen our IT department, which currently has around 150 employees, we are currently looking for a

Software Development Assistant / IT Assistant Software Development (m/f/d)

• Development and maintenance of software components that meet requirements (new developments, program changes and maintenance of simple software components according to current standards)
• Order planning (order entry, scheduling, informing and advising internal customers, preparing status reports, assessing standard IT systems and customer-specific solutions, etc.)
• Software maintenance incl. error analysis (analyzing the malfunction and determining the cause of the error through code analysis and debugging)
• Testing of software components/software systems
• User support in the task environment (incident and change management)

• Successfully completed training as an IT specialist (e.g. specializing in application development) or completed training as an IT assistant or comparable training in information technology
• Alternatively, several years of relevant experience in the area of responsibility
• Experience in software development or basic knowledge of a programming language desirable
• Competence in dealing with information and requirements
• High service orientation
• Ability to work in a team
• Analytical, logical, structured thinking skills
• Ability to act and make decisions independently
• Willingness to acquire the necessary specialist knowledge
