Job Description

We are looking for a Fleet Operations Manager responsible for the safety, compliance, availability, and customer sentiment of the Fleet in their respective region of Germany. The role requires executing business strategies, implementing best practices, and collaborating across Europe to optimize fleet operations.

Key responsibilities include

• Ensuring vehicles are roadworthy and compliant through audits and regional feedback
• Executing fleet initiatives and supporting delivery partners with fleet management mechanisms
• Collaborating with stakeholders to solve operational challenges and manage escalations
• Managing vehicle readiness and standards by analyzing data from fleet management sources
• Based in a delivery station in Germany, with 30-40% travel across the region and occasional travel across Europe

About the team

Amazon Logistics handles last mile delivery in partnership with third-party distributors, focusing on operational excellence and customer experience through innovative delivery solutions and sustainability initiatives.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience influencing and partnering with cross-functional teams
• Ability to handle high-volume engagements
• Excellent communication skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in German and English
• Preferred location: Austria or Bavaria (Vienna or Munich)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Advanced degree or MBA
• Relevant fleet management or mobility services experience
