Julien Orts’ group “BioNMR and Drug Discovery by Advanced NMR Methods” at the University of Vienna is seeking a highly motivated student to join their team.
The project focuses on developing new approaches for protein–ligand structure determination. The team has recently proposed NMR2, a method for rapid elucidation of protein–ligand complex structures without requiring crystallography or protein resonance assignment.
Your role will be to further develop and explore this method. Candidates should have a strong interest in advanced biophysical and spectroscopic techniques applied to biological problems, with knowledge in physical chemistry or computational sciences. The position offers extensive training in structural biology and advanced NMR methods, a collaborative environment, and opportunities for cutting-edge research.
