Job Title: Energy and Environmental Specialist

Red Bull is on a mission to decarbonize and enhance energy efficiency at production sites, both in-house and with our copackers. As an Energy and Environmental Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in advising our team on strategies to optimize energy usage, minimize environmental impact, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop long-term strategies for reducing environmental footprints and achieving energy efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Energy Management Strategies: Develop and implement energy management strategies at the production line and plant level. Work with copackers and partners to reduce energy use and costs across operations
• Renewable Energy Adoption: Recommend and support the adoption of renewable energy solutions, such as solar, wind, and other sustainable sources, to promote energy independence and sustainability
• Energy Audits and Standards Monitoring: Manage energy audits, propose solutions for improving building and facility performance, and orchestrate efforts to enhance energy efficiency. Define internal standards and monitor energy performance indicators, providing progress reports to leadership
• Sustainability Guidance: Provide energy guidance based on Red Bull Sustainability requirements for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring best practices are met

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Sciences, Process Engineering, Energy Management, or related field (Master's degree is a plus)
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in energy management, environmental consulting, or related fields
• Strong knowledge of energy systems, heat utilization, renewable energy solutions, environmental regulations, and sustainability standards
• Experience with process engineering, energy audits, building systems optimization, and energy modeling tools
• Familiarity with energy management standards (e.g., ISOand environmental certifications (e.g., ISO
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders and manage multiple projects
• Strong project management and leadership skills

Additional Information

Due to legal reasons, the minimum salary for this position is EUR 2,446 gross per month, according to the collective agreement. Our actual compensation package is market-oriented and above this minimum.
